NOTES:

The Amaranth (Amaranthus Caudatus L.) in the formula comes from organic farming. The plant is native to Central America, where it was already cultivated by pre-Columbian civilisations. The genus Amaranthus includes around 60 species, but only three in particular are considered good seed producers, mainly Caudatus. The rediscovery of the seed was made known to the general public in 1975, thanks to the publication of a botany text by the US National Academy of Sciences.  Amaranthus Caudatus L. is rich in protein, up to 16%, with a high biological value as it contains high amounts of the essential amino acid lysine. It also has a high content of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron and fibre, valuable substances that facilitate cholesterol metabolism. As it is gluten-free, it is suitable for those suffering from coeliac disease.

Bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; fermented red rice (Oryza sativa L. fermented by Monascus purpureus Went) seeds dry extract titrated at 3% in monacolin K; amaranth (Amaranthus caudatus L.) seeds powder; pomegranate (Punica granatum L. ) fruit dry extract* titrated at 20% in ellagic acid; pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) fruit concentrated dehydrated juice*; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; red grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) leaves dry extract* titrated at 5% in polyphenols.
